Raising the Voices of the ALS Community, Together: Amsterdam Brewing Joins ALS Action Canada

ALS Action Canada and Amsterdam Brewing Company have launched a year-round strategic partnership to fuel the vital work of ALS Action Canada. 

Partnership Overview

This multi-pronged collaboration brings together the ALS and brewing communities through activations, creativity, and shared values to:

  • Amplify the voices of people living with ALS

  • Raise awareness of ALS across Canada

  • Fund trials, treatments, and research 

  • The partnership will include ongoing Amsterdam Brewing initiatives throughout the year, providing Canadians with opportunities to support the unique and necessary work of ALS Action Canada to drive change for the ALS community. 

Flagship Partnership Activation: St. Patrick’s Day Festival

March 13–23 | Amsterdam Brewhouse, 245 Queens Quay W., Toronto

  • Limited-edition beer with proceeds supporting ALS research through ALS Therapy Development Institute and the ALS Super Fund

  • Festival menu items with donations per featured item sold

  • Irish dancers (March 14 & 17)

  • Oyster shucking by Shucker Paddy (March 17 & 21)

  • Talented DJ and entertainment, themed décor, curated playlists

  • Tiptap donation opportunities and co-branded merchandise

This Festival is the first activation under the partnership, turning community celebration into direct support for raising ALS voices and driving ALS research.

How You Can Support 

The Amsterdam Partnership provides people across Canada  with multiple ways to engage and support ALS research throughout the year:

  • Donate: Support the Amsterdam Brewing Giving Group, part of the ALS Super Fund. Contributions help fund ALS research while also supporting ALS Action Canada’s work to raise patient voices, advance advocacy, and drive progress toward treatments and a cure.

  • Participate in Activations: Attend Amsterdam Brewing events like the St. Patrick’s Day Festival or other events to be announced  throughout the year.

  • Raise Awareness: Share information about the partnership and ALS using #EndALSCanada

  • Purchase online: Order Amsterdam’s limited-edition A Legendary Stout online, brewed as part of the Ales for ALS initiative. A portion of proceeds supports ALS research through the ALS SuperFund.

Every donation, purchase, and engagement helps advance ALS research and bring measurable impact to Canadians living with ALS.
