ALS Action Canada is very happy to acknowledge Amylyx Canada as a supporter and partner in the coordinated effort to end ALS.
Amylyx is a global pharmaceutical company based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, that is dedicated to the discovery and development of potential treatments for neurodegenerative diseases. We pursue unconventional approaches through lasting collaborations with industry leaders, scientists, doctors, research organizations, and the communities impacted by these relentlessly progressive diseases.
Returning to the links in 2023, the OHL Alumni Golf Classic will take place on Wednesday, September 13th at the Diamondback Golf Club in Richmond Hill. This year's event will be held in support of ALS Action Canada's Super Fund, a cause championed by OHL and NHL alumnus Mark Kirton, who was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in 2018.
Ontario Hockey League
Shout out to the club link members of Greystone, who have graciously supported the search for a cure for ALS. On August 2 a 3rd annual successful fundraiser was held raising another $5,000. So far, the event has raised close to $20,000 which has been donated to the ALS Super Fund.
